A noted leader in the fields of natural resource regulatory policy and wildlife habitat restoration, Mike has dedicated his career to ensuring our clients achieve their project objectives while assisting them with protecting and restoring natural resources. He has a proven history of supporting public policy development and providing guidance in representation of both landowners and public interests. Mike possesses a successful track record of approved large, complex projects, such as Developments of Regional Impact and other controversial works including marinas, transportation facilities, and mining operations; these results were achieved by finding superior ecological solutions that also demonstrate a clear understanding of current community needs. Prior to joining WilsonMiller, Mike acquired 15 years of knowledge and expertise in the environmental consulting field as a Principal of his own firm. His innovative leadership has been identified by awards that recognize his contributions to industry and the community in providing ecological consulting and wildlife habitat restoration. Mike serves on numerous community boards and organizations, including chairing the Palmetto Planning & Zoning Commission, serving on the Manatee County Environmental Lands Management and Acquisition Advisory Committee, the Southwest Florida Water Management District Environmental Advisory Committee; serving on the boards of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the New College Alumnae/i Association, the Myakka Conservancy, and chairing Floridians for Smarter Growth Manatee.
