Mike Bell is the Managing Principal of WilsonMiller’s Government operations. He oversees multidisciplinary teams for major public sector projects. His strengths include design and permitting of master drainage and stormwater management systems, as well as parks, schools, roadways, site development, and associated utility projects.
Mike has served a professional engineering role on numerous master planned communities in Sarasota and Manatee counties, including Lakewood Ranch, a premier residential master planned community in the Sarasota/Bradenton metropolitan area with a project size of almost 30,000 acres at build-out.
Mike’s extensive master planning experience working directly with state, local and federal governmental agencies such as SWFWMD and USACE has made him a trusted and invaluable resource in both the private and public sectors. He is also an active participant in the local SWFWMD ERP Advisory Group meetings.
