A national award-winning urban-infill land planner, his skills include community and comprehensive planning, public policy-related government relations, public involvement in the planning and development process, and eminent domain litigation support. He is also an urban anthropologist with a profound understanding of what makes successful communities tick.

Spanning both the public- and private-sector fields in Florida, Mr. English’s work includes directing many of WilsonMiller’s most significant urban planning, redevelopment, and master planning projects. He was principal-in-charge for two recent award-winning projects—the Channel District Strategic Action Plan and the Southeast Gainesville Development Opportunities Master Plan, both of which utilized out-of-the-box, market-based approaches to public sector master planning.
