Michael A. Kennedy, P.E.

Executive Vice President, Managing Principal – Urban Land

Mike Kennedy has nearly a quarter-century of experience of as a civil engineer in the southeast United States. Kennedy has managed well over 100 projects, ranging from large-scale mixed-use developments (up to 5,000 acres) to smaller water and sewer projects. He is experienced in the formation and operation of Community Development Districts and has served as District Engineer for five districts.

Mike’s corporate responsibilities include serving as Executive Vice President and Managing Principal of the Firm’s Urban Land operations. He has served as Principal-in-Charge for the majority of the Lakewood Ranch project in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, which represents a wide spectrum of residential and commercial uses in a well-thought-out balance of social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

Leading by example, Mike is an active member of his local community. He was on the Board of Trustees for Manatee County Economic Development Council; Board Member of Manatee County YMCA; Board Member of Manatee Chamber of Commerce and Board Member of Manatee Community Charitable Foundation.
